They have likes and dislikes and they are limited in one way or the other hence vulnerable.When you consider the distinction between judgement and mercy,only then can you understand what Christ did on the cross.The Rock means or represent something other than a standing huge stone.It represent[Isaiah 8:13-14] God,that was why God said in {Numbers 20:8} 'speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water'.It requires faith to speak to the Rock without using the rod to strike[You need faith to request anything from God and expect result without devising your own strategies.]
